I just delivered the last of the Halloween portraits this morning, but I am going to share a few of them with you each day. I had so much fun with this little 5-month-old lion. Isn’t his costume adorable? He thought it was pretty tasty, actually! Here is the cowardly lion, Rylan:

This little monkey, Donovan, was so sweet and all smiles! I’ve been photographing Donovan since he was a baby and I was so surprised to see how much he had grown! He makes such an adorable little monkey. I couldn’t decide if his ears or his feet were my favorite part of the costume!

Whew! It’s been a long weekend and I have so much to share, but since it’s past my bedtime, I’ll leave with a fun sneak peek of our Halloween Costume Mini-Sessions. Taking me right back to my childhood when my Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls accompanied me to many a tea party, here’s Piper:

Just going back through my recent sessions and trying to blog the ones I missed. I try to blog my sessions after all of the orders have been completed and since Trevor’s mom ordered a gorgeous session album of 40 images from this session, and had family portraits done soon thereafter, it seems like the process was ongoing! But Trevor was so much fun at his session, that I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share these with you.

Trevor bikes all the time, so of course we included his bike in some of the pictures. He’s so photogenic and he doesn’t even know it!

It seems like 2010 is the Year of the Baby because I’ve been photographing babies galore this year! So many more babies than last year. This time I’d like to introduce Parker to you. Parker’s parents are no strangers to shawna K studio. I’ve been photographing them since they got engaged, so needless to say it was very fun to get caught up with their mom while photographing their session! I love to watch families grow. Big brother Preston was also very excited to have his photograph taken, but he wasn’t too sure about sharing the stage with his new baby brother!

I had the pleasure of photographing Lauren recently. Since beautiful Lauren with her long blond hair is moving out of state, she wanted photographs that would remind her of her time as a California Girl. So, off to the beach we went! Enjoy!

Remember, just because your school might use a contract photographer, doesn’t mean that you HAVE to order your senior portraits through that photographer! Those portraits are really just so everyone looks uniform and consistent throughout the yearbook. If you have your heart set on beach portraits, urban portraits, or any-location-you-can-think-of portraits, then don’t hesitate to call or text us at (619)861-3630.
